Looking for Truck Driving Schools?

As far as truck driving schools, there are over 70 in Georgia alone. None of them can boast the same success rates as Daly’s Truck Driving School, though. Daly’s has ultra-modern equipment, materials available online, offers flexible hours, and has graduated over 16,000 drivers.

If you are looking to obtain a Class A CDL, you can choose from a Monday to Friday class, or one that operates on the weekend. If you opt for the full time class, you will attend from 7 in the morning till 5 in the evening for three weeks. Weekend classes of 7am-5pm will take 7 and a half weeks to complete the course.

For Class B licenses it’s 6 days of 7am-5pm Monday to Friday. While Class B drivers don’t command the same level of pay as Class A drivers, it is still possible to earn up to $50,000.

Perhaps what’s even more important is that we help place you in jobs once you’ve completer your license.

Georgia’s truck driving scene has an incredibly positive outlook, with job openings for truckers increasing 21% every year. That trend is expected to continue through 2020, meaning there is no better time than now to obtain your CDL license.

While it is possible to find work driving allowing you to return home each evening, these jobs are less common and pay considerably less than interstate driving jobs. However, interstate driving jobs tend to allow a return to home once every week or two. In some extreme circumstances you may only return home once a month. There are many top trucking companies located in Georgia, including Premier Transportation, Logix Transportation, West Side Transport, and C.R. England. Depending on what company offers you a contract you may drive within state bounds, in the south, or all throughout the country.

As one of the most popular states to live in, Georgia offers a unique blend of southern living with the best of East Coast life. Known for its rural green areas, historic homes and stretching peach orchards, the cost of living is 8% less than the national average.

Georgia brags large cities like Atlanta, Augusta, and Columbus, with plenty of events and cultural attractions throughout the state. It’s the perfect state to get your start in the truck driving industry, with constant job growth and plenty of room to grow. Any area of Georgia can offer a great place to lay your hat when you’re off the road.

Daly’s has been training in the Atlanta area for over 20 years, which has given the school time to forge strong bonds in the industry. We have a solid reputation and good relationships with carriers, which allows us to keep you aware of your job opportunities once you graduate. Graduating from Daly’s offers you the strongest job opportunities possible.
